Rev. Mother Maryesah Karelon has been a student of mystical Christianity, spirituality and healing for over 30 years. She received her Master of Divinity degree in 1976 from Colgate Rochester/Bexley Hall/Crozer Theological Seminary (CRDS/BH/CTS) in Rochester, New York and was subsequently ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1978.
After serving in several parishes in Western New York, she returned to the academic world for further graduate study in counseling and was then led into deeper explorations of metaphysics. She was ordained as a priest in the teaching and healing Order of Melchizedek in 1987, which led to a life-changing trip to Egypt later that same year.
Trained in traditional pastoral counseling, Mother Maryesah is also a certified hypnotherapist who combines hypnosis with her gifts of intuitive awareness and subtle energy healing to create a unique opportunity for healing on many levels.
Responding once again to God’s call in her life and celebrating her priesthood at another level, Mother Maryesah was ordained as a Catholic priest in an independent Catholic Church in 2004.
Subsequently she has given birth to the Order of St. Mary Magdalene, a non-denominational organization dedicated to spiritual wholeness and healing through the union of the masculine and feminine energies.
Interested in the paranormal since childhood, she now bridges the traditional and the non-traditional, opening new paths for those who would follow. She understands her purpose as that of a wayshower and facilitator of healing in all its many forms.
